Copper Epithermal Intrusion
Castle Park Minerals Joint Venture
Trabits Group has entered into an earn-in joint venture agreement with Castle Park Minerals, LLC for a position in Castle Park's high purity silica project. Castle Park Minerals holds a federal claim block in northeastern Nevada near the Utah border.During the summer of 2007 Castle Park became aware of a silica deposit that had small tonnage mined many years ago for smelter flux. Castle Park investigated the land status and found the ground open to location. Trabits Group calculated the claim corners using software based on USGS map data for the claim block location filing. Trabits Group sampled the silica outcrops and confirmed SiO2 content at an average of 99.2%.
In September 2007 Trabits Group conducted a geologic review of the claim block and noted a significant copper epithermal intrusion in a portion of the silica outcrop. Castle Park and Trabits Group have agreed to a drill program to determine if gold and other metals are associated with the intrusion.
