Highwall - Sand Layers
Arizona Frac Sand
Trabits Group is working with an existing sand and gravel operation in Arizona to develop a previously unrecognized upper layer of sand with proppant qualities. The sand at this operation is layered and weakly lithified. The lower horizons are mainly angular coarse sand while the upper layer is a finer rounded sand. The upper layer round sand resource is estimated to be 1,000,000 tons. Samples collected from the upper layer were tested by Stim-Lab in Duncan, Oklahoma ( see the report below).
This existing operation has major highway access with nearby rail access. Trabits Group is currently seeking expressions of interest on the development of a frac sand operation co-located with the existing operation.
