Welcome
Welcome to the Trabits Group website. Trabits Group is a privately held company that specializes in the development of industrial mineral resources. Headquartered in Alaska, Trabits Group evaluates known and newly discovered industrial mineral deposits throughout the western United States as well as Alaska. Trabits Group has developed an industrial sand mine and processing facility in northwestern Arizona and a natural zeolite resource in western Nevada. Trabits Group is currently evaluating barite, silica, clay and limestone deposits.
Trabits Group holds a forty-five percent working interest in Nevada Specialty Minerals, LLC. Nevada Specialty Minerals is in the design and construction phase of a mine and processing facilities for a ferrierite - mordenite zeolite deposit located near Lovelock, Nevada. This deposit is unique because of its large size and the occurrence of the rare ferrierite zeolite. Zeolites are of commercial interest because of their high cation exchange capacity, their open structure with molecular ports and cavities and their ability to gain and lose water with little structural change. Zeolites are used in many consumer and industrial applications.
Trabits Group has entered into a Patent License Agreement with Halliburton Energy Services, Inc. which allows Trabits Group, on a worldwide basis, to make, use, sell and sublicense for use specialized zeolite blended cements. These specialized cement blends have applications in (1) lightweight cements; (2) normal weight cements; (3) densified cements; (4) squeeze cements; and (5) foamed cements. In addition, the zeolite technology Licensed to Trabits Group has the property of lowering cementing temperatures for use in permafrost. The Licensed zeolite cementing technology and methods have applications in oil, gas, coal bed methane, geothermal and water wells.
Trabits Group welcomes industrial mineral property submittals.
